Question 2
All the Tooheys home brews seem to be all Lager based. Have you a simple recipe so as to produce some sort of English Bitter, or Pale Ale, or India Pale Ale using your kits, even if I use the Tooheys as a base and then add more brewing ingredients?
Each of the five beer kits in the Tooheys range are quite different in flavour profile. By experimenting with different brewing sugar blends, adding hops for bitterness or aroma and/or crushed malt for added body, sweetness and/or flavour intensity, you can change the beers to suit your tastes.
We suggest that you visit your local home brew supplies store for ideas and the ingredients to suit the styles of beers you like. This is where the fun can really happen in home brewing. Remember you are completely in control of the flavour and style of beer that you brew. This is what the brewers at Tooheys do, they decide what type of beer they want to brew and then set about using all their knowledge and ingredients to brew the best beer they can, you can do the same.
